Wrongful Death

Death is tragic. No matter what happened, there is nothing you can do to bring a person back. However, if the death of someone you love was caused by someone else, you may have what is called a “wrongful death” claim under West Virginia law. While no amount of money can replace your loved one, the law provides wrongful death suits to help pay for bills, teach people lessons who negligently or intentionally cause death, and to provide some compensation for the grieving family. Wrongful death includes death caused by car or truck accidents, medical malpractice, defective products and drunk driving.

If you think the death of a loved one was the fault of someone else, please call us today to discuss your situation and see whether you might have a legal claim. Don't delay, because the law requires you to take action within a certain amount of time.
